Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the services provided by LexiDoc ("we", "our", "us") and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services to engage in, promote, or facilitate any of the following activities:

  • Illegal Activities: Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Harmful or Fraudulent Activities: Generating content that is deceptive, fraudulent, harmful, or that could be used to exploit or harm minors in any way. This includes generating malware, phishing schemes, or engaging in any activity that could disrupt the Services or other users' ability to use them.
  • Infringement of Intellectual Property: Violating the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, or trade secrets. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any content you upload or process.
  • Hate Speech and Harassment: Generating content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, invasive of privacy, or otherwise objectionable, including content that promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group.
  • Academic Dishonesty: Submitting AI-generated content as your own work without proper attribution or in violation of academic integrity policies. The Services are intended as a research and productivity tool, not a means to commit plagiarism.
  • High-Risk Activities: Using the services for any high-risk activities where the failure of the service could lead to death, personal injury, or severe environmental damage, such as the operation of nuclear facilities, air traffic control, or life support systems.
  • Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise discover the source code or underlying components of our models, algorithms, and systems.
  • Scraping and Automation: Using automated systems or software to extract data from the Services for commercial purposes ("scraping") in a manner that exceeds the fair use policy of your subscribed plan.

3. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate any violation of this AUP. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, remove content, or take any other action we deem appropriate if we believe, in our sole discretion, that you have violated this AUP.

4. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please contact us immediately at abuse@lexidoc.com.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this AUP from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new AUP.
